Inspired by a portrait of an unknown woman that was previously mixed up with another portrait of Duchess Antoinette d´Orléans, this being the reason why this name was chosen to represent this necklace design. The painter of the portrait is also a mystery, it was thought to be by Francois Clouet, but today the painter is only described as being by an artist of the same school due to the similar technique. As for the age of the painting its accessed to been painted around the years 1570/75.

Made with glass beads and beads made of the gemstone jet.

The fastener is a claspgarten and by that it is not possible to adjust the size of the finished product.
